Alida Heikerk

Born in Suriname on the 11 November 1982 in Paramaribo, I come from a family of 5 children of which I am the eldest. My passions are decorative design, cooking, and baking. In December 2011, I became mother of a beautiful daughter. On 10 December 2017, I left with my daughter to the Netherlands. After a few months of living and working in the Netherlands we decided to move to Belgium. I am already quite well settled and I will use all the possibilities I have to achieve my goal.

Fameus supports everyone who is passionately engaged with art in Antwerp and its districts in his or her free time.

Leisure artists and associations can contact Fameus for advice and support, financial support, projects and rehearsal and performance room in Zaal Zirkus.

Artists can contact Fameus both for the business-organizational part and for artistic advice. In addition, Fameus takes on a network function and connects artists with associations/education/workshops (and vice versa) and we support starting professionals by introducing them in the professional field.

With the financial support from the Fund for talent development, Fameus manages a subsidy line of the City of Antwerp, which specifically supports artistic talent development of leisure artists.
